Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to a website everyone can use, the standard we measure against, known limitations, and how to tell us about a barrier.

Last updated: October 20, 2026

Our commitment

Home Plus Group LLC wants everyone to be able to use homeplusgroupllc.com, including people with visual, hearing, mobility, speech, cognitive, learning, and neurological disabilities. We are also committed to accessible communication and service in our properties and offices, and to reasonable accommodations and modifications in our housing and tenancy processes as required by fair housing and disability law.

We treat accessibility as part of how we build and maintain this website, not as an afterthought. If something on this site is difficult to use, we want to hear about it and fix it.

What this statement covers

This statement applies to homeplusgroupllc.com and its pages, including the Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and this page. It does not cover third-party websites or tools reached through links from our site, or documents and services provided by owners, vendors, or other partners, although we ask those parties to provide accessible materials.

Standards we aim to meet

We design and review the Site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is the most widely used benchmark and the basis of many accessibility laws. We also follow the ADA Standards for Accessible Design for our physical facilities and the accessibility requirements that apply to housing providers and property managers.

In practice, that means content should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust: text alternatives for meaningful images, structure that assistive technology can read, enough color contrast, and full keyboard support.

Conformance status

We believe homeplusgroupllc.com substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Our review so far has been an internal check rather than a formal audit by an independent expert, so we describe our status as partial conformance and are working toward a verified result.

Some content that we do not create, such as embedded maps or third-party viewers, may not fully meet these guidelines. Where that happens, we provide an alternative way to reach the same information.

What we have built in

Current measures on this site include:

  • A “Skip to main content” link so keyboard and screen-reader users can pass the menu in one press of the Tab key.
  • Landmark regions (header, navigation, main, footer) and a logical heading order, so screen-reader users can jump between sections.
  • Full keyboard operability for links, buttons, and menus, with a clearly visible focus outline.
  • Text descriptions for photographs that carry meaning, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • Color combinations chosen to keep text readable against its background, including white and gold text on deep green.
  • Page layouts that reflow at narrow and wide screen sizes without requiring horizontal scrolling, and text that can be enlarged by your browser without losing content.
  • Respect for your system’s reduced-motion setting, so animated transitions can be reduced automatically.
  • Plain, direct language, with contact information repeated on every page so you never have to search for a way to reach us.
  • Phone and email as always-available alternatives to any online task, so nothing requires the website to be completed.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following limitations and are working on them:

  • Photographs in the opening section and elsewhere are decorative and convey atmosphere rather than information; meaningful images carry text alternatives.
  • Hover-triggered effects, such as the service previews on the home page, are not available by touch, so the same information is also shown in the surrounding text.
  • Long single-page layouts mean screen-reader users may prefer the section links in the menu over scrolling through the whole page.
  • Documents that are scanned or supplied by third parties may not have accessible tags; ask us and we will provide an accessible version.

We review these items as the site changes and update this statement when our status changes.

Alternative formats and assistance

If you need information on this site in another format, or you would rather complete a task another way, contact us and we will help at no extra cost. We can provide documents in large print, plain text, or another usable format, read information aloud over the phone, correspond by email or mail, and arrange an in-person meeting. We aim to respond to requests for alternative formats within two business days.

Report a barrier

If you find something on homeplusgroupllc.com that is hard to use, tell us. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, the device, browser, or assistive technology you used, and any screenshot or description that helps. We will confirm receipt, tell you what we plan to do and roughly when, and offer another way to complete your task in the meantime.

If you are a resident or applicant and your request concerns a reasonable accommodation or modification in housing, say so in your message so it is handled promptly under the correct process.

Browsers, devices, and enabling technologies

The Site is built to work with current versions of mainstream browsers and with common assistive technology, including screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver, magnifiers, braille displays, speech-recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation. Because combinations vary, tell us about a specific setup that gives trouble and we will test it.

How we check our work

Our review includes automated scans, keyboard-only walkthroughs, screen-reader spot checks, and contrast measurement, repeated when we add or redesign a page. We plan to add an independent accessibility audit and will report the outcome here once it is complete.

Ongoing improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We keep this statement, our design choices, and our testing current as the site grows, and we welcome input from the people who use the site. Your feedback directly shapes what we fix next.
